From Tree To Sea x Monalysa Floral : Behind The Scenes

I met Alysa of Monalysa Floral while working together at Plant, and from the first time I saw her arrange a bouquet, I knew it would be inspiring to work with her on some sort of collaboration.

A self-taught flora lover and florist, Alysa constantly radiates a slow, sweet intentional vibe to everything she touches. She has an eye for creating wild and thoughtful arrangements and Iā€™m so happy she agreed to style some ceramic pieces for me.

I met Emma when she became project manager at Workshop Studios, my second home. Her ability to document life in such a beautiful way is truly magical, and having a connection through the studio and growing up in the same small town as Alysa made it all the more fun to create something together. Emma took the lead on styling, so I quietly tip-toed around, snapping photos of her at work.

It was so lovely watching these talented women I admire spring into action, arranging flowers and rearranging plates and fresh fruit Emma had brought from BC. I feel so very lucky to have shared this special morning with these gals, and hope to repeat it again one day.

Enjoy these quiet moments snapped during the shoot - film photos from Emma to follow in another post shortly.
